KAMPALA- Former information minister Kabakumba Masiko and popular musician Silver Kyagulanyi were among the 1,300 graduands at the Law Development Centre.


At the graduation ceremony presided over by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mike Chibita, 53 graduated with diplomas in Human Rights, 505 in Law and 596 in Postgraduate Bar Course.

Chibita advised the graduates to avoid love for quick money. "In trying to make money, you can do much more with the law than money."

According to the director LDC, Frank Nigel Othembi, 88% had passed Bar Course, making it to the 45th graduation list.

He pledged that LDC would continue striving for its high position in the professional standards.
