She Cranes' victory over Wales has improved their chances of making it to the netball semifinals at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

The She Cranes who have been the fans favorites in the group B ever-since the Games commenced last week, started the match knowing a loss would leave their chances hanging by a thread after falling to world's number-two New Zealand in the opening game.

They beat Malawi on Saturday, but unfortunately fell to the England on Sunday.

However, the 76-40 victory over the Weles restored Uganda's hopes as they plot to finish among the top four teams at the Commonwealth Games ending this week.

In 2015, Uganda fell to Wales twice at the Netball World Cup.

Proscovia scored 56 goals with Racheal Nanyonga adding 20 goals to her name as the She Cranes dominated the game right from start to finish.

Leading the group B table is the world's number-three England with eight points followed by New Zealand with six points.
