Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Kateregga has promised great performances for his new side Cape Town City.
Kateregga was speaking after making his debut for the South African PLS outfit over the weekend.
"I am glad and humbled for the love and support from everyone on my debut on Sunday.Too bad we didn't give the fans the joy they deserved, but we promise to do much better in the coming games," Kateregga said.
The former KCCA player was introduced in the second half as Cape Town City went down 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup. Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Dennis Onyango was part of the Sundowns team.
Katereggga has been out with an injury ever since he joined Cape Town at the start of the year.
