In order to address this topic, we need to write books, volumes of publications, but let us simply take Uganda as a sample. Through my work, daily observations and what I follow through the various print, audio and video media and through my direct attendance of various meetings, conversation and forums about this topic in public and political circles, I have come to appreciate the work of the World Islamic Call Society.

All this assured me that the work done by World Islamic Call Society in Uganda was good and that it contributed to building the unity of this country.  It has been instrumental in building Uganda's social and religious stability as well as to the positive impact of Uganda's relations with other countries, institutions and embassies operating in and on its territory… perhaps, someone may wonder! How is this?

Let us review, for example, the National Mosque in Uganda. This Islamic bastion, which was built by the World Islamic Call Society, is an integrated centre with prayer halls, meeting rooms, classrooms and a modern library with more than 150,000 titles in various Arab and Islamic sciences.

It also has a modern electronic library and modern meeting rooms equipped with up-to-date facilities. It is also considered as a centre for the headquarters of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council and the seat for His Eminence the Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadan Mubajje.

Interestingly, this castle is not only for prayer, but has become a focal point for all Arab and Islamic institutions and organisations operating in Uganda. It is also a base for the Duats (Muslim preachers) from Islamic and Arab countries through which they carry out their Islamic preaching, cultural and relief works.

Diplomatic and political delegations also have an opportunity to meet with Muslim leaders in the corridors of this prominent Islamic landmark. The World Islamic Call Society is the official patron of these works and the umbrella that brings together all institutions and countries in order to achieve one of the most important goals for which it was founded: And this is (to build mankind, societies and to plant the love of good, altruism, purity, charity, cohesion, synergy, solidarity and all the beautiful qualities needed in personal endeavors and communication).

A summary of the World Islamic Call Society works and its main objective is as follows: Instilling the impact to please the Lord of mankind. So, what is done in the name of God shall persevere and endure. And what is not done in the name of God shall perish accordingly.
