Mukono church mark Easter donating to mothers

EASTER SUNDAY

 
MUKONO - Mukono Church of Uganda Good Samaritan Ministry under the leadership of the bishop's wife, Tezra Ssebaggala, has spent the Easter Sunday afternoon visiting mothers in hospitals, giving them donations and praying for them.

The health units include Mukono Church of Uganda Hospital and Mukono Health Centre IV.

The team mainly visited the mothers who gave birth today.

Ssebaggala, who is also a midwife, lauded the men she found nursing their wives and called on those who abandoned theirs in the hands of the health workers to always stand by their wives.

On the same note, the former Buganda government treasurer, Eva Nagawa, said a man who abandons their wives at the time of delivery, yet they started the battle together, should change their ways.

Among the donations given to the mothers included bed sheets, sugar and refreshments, among others.

At Mukono Health Centre IV, 13 children were delivered, while at Mukono Church of Uganda, two babies were delivered.
