"... I rushed to check what had happened and one of my house’s walls had been knocked down by the perimeter wall; leaving a big hole and big cracks. The wall that fell had covered the exact spot where I had sat a few seconds before,” she explains.

Ugandan gospel star, Zabuli narrowly survived being buried under rubble when part of one of the walls of her house came crushing in. This happened during Tuesday night's heavy downpour shortly after she had arrived home from a studio session.

"It's after you have a near death experience that you understand what matters the most in your life. I have survived road accidents in the past and it was devastating. The feeling of terror that gets a tight grip over your life is unexplainable and little did I know that yesterday night under heavy rainfall, I would have been buried under a tone of bricks of my own house," the singer revealed in a Facebook post.

According to her, after the late night studio session, she narrowly survived another accident on the road and could not wait to get home under her safe roof.

"By 1:00am, I am usually either reading or watching a movie which means I never sleep at this time.  I am always up," she says.

But for some reason, she did not stay up as usual and went off to sleep since it was cold and raining heavily.

Hardly had she rested on her bed than she heard a hard loud noise in her sitting room. "I thought it was an earthquake since there was heavy lightening too. I rushed to check what had happened and one of my house's walls had been knocked down by the perimeter wall; leaving a big hole and big cracks. The wall that fell had covered the exact spot where I had sat a few seconds before," she explains.

Zabuli attributed her unintended escape to divine protection and counts it another great testimony of her life.
