Private function
The function was attended by Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda.

Holy Mass was conducted by Katende. He was assisted by Fr Vincent Mulumba, the managing director of Marianum press Kisubi, Fr Kizito Kalemera a servicing priest at Kyoto, and Fr Gozanga Goza Ssali of St Paul Parish in Mukono.

Sacrament
Katende said baptism is the sacrament by which a person is initiated into the Christian faith. He said parents are responsible for bringing their child to the sacrament of baptism as soon as possible.

"It is not wrong to baptise people because even the Jesus we follow told his disciples to go to the world and baptize. This is what the church is doing," he said.

The young princess's godmother is her aunt Mary Sylvia Kibaya.
