KCCA coach Mike Mutebi believes his side has what it takes to eliminate Ethiopia's St George when the two sides meet in the next round of the CAF Champions League.

"St George has more experience than us in the Champions league. I believe they researched about us.They are good at using the ball and this is something we want since they make us think. If we stick with how we play, we shall eliminate them," Mutebi said.

KCCA will meet St George in the first leg of the first round next Wednesday with the return leg to be played on March 17 in Kampala.

Paul Mucureezi scored the only goal in the 63rd as KCCA eliminated CNaPS Sport on away goals rule after 2-2 draw to progress to the next round, while St George's opponents in the preliminary round Al Salam Wau from South Sudan didn't honour the first leg thus being shown exist from the competition.

The winner between KCCA and St George will qualify for the group stages.

At least $550,000 (sh1.9bn) cash prize awaits KCCA should they make it to the CAF Champions League group stages.
