Amuria parents decry transfer of best teacher

Parents of Alaso primary school in Akoromit Sub County in Amuria have protested the transfer of one of their best teachers.

The chairperson, John Michael Omukai alleges that Emmanuel Omale was just transferred to the school and his work had impressed all the parents.

"We were shocked to discover that the district has again transferred him," he said.

Attempts to get comment on the matter from the district Chief Administrative officer (CAO) were futile.

However, David Ewayu the vice chairperson Amuria called for calm among the parents of Alaso saying the transfers were normal.
