Schools in Kasokoso closed over licence

WAKISO - The education ministry on Monday closed schools in Kasokoso in Wakiso district over licence and standards, in what is planned to be a week-long operation.

One of the Bridge Schools and Dominion Nursery and Primary School were among those closed in the area.

The directorate of education standards is handling the operation. Schools were given until Friday to sort their issues out, as pupils were sent back home.

At this school, the headmaster's office also serves as a store for toiletries and food. Officials found sacks of maize flour in one corner.
