In Room 2, guests are told that legumes produce a lot of gas. "If these legumes are mixed with other pasture, this gas will cause bloat complications, which may necessitate calling for a veterinary expert".

8.59am President coming?
I have heard that President Yoweri Museveni will be coming at the expo today.
That's not a confirmation, by the way.

This year's edition has not been short of big profiles. On Saturday, foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa attended the expo.
State Minister for Primary Education Rosemary Seninde was also here, as was the deputy commander of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Lt. Gen. Charles Angina.

7.25am Remember Me - Lucky Dube
Looks like the sound guys are set. We are being treated to some Luck Dube hits right about now. The late South African reggae musician's Remember Me is being blasted through the towering speakers.
Memories.
7.13am Setting up, settling down
My eyes are darting from one end to another and what they see is exhibitors setting their tables and products so that guests find them ready.
The rich aroma of tea and coffee is beginning to waft my way. The tent pitched right next to the media centre is one for food. You can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner here, as well as at various such spots all around the stadium.
My ears have caught the cries of a crow that is probably trying to reach out to its partner.
Is it mating season for the black birds?
Meanwhile, the sounds of 'check-one, check-two' are rumbling the early morning air off the huge sound systems stationed at an equi-distance around the vast stadium.
