Notice from the Ministry of Education

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the UN Development Business online of 24th July 2013 and on the African Development Bank Group's Internet Website.

The Government of Uganda has received a Loan from the African Development Fund (ADF) in various currencies towards the cost of Uganda: Support to Higher Education, Science and Technology (HEST) Education V Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Furniture to Various Benefi ciary Institution's Under the ADB V HEST Project (under Lot 4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.04, 4.05 and Lot 4.06).

The Ministry of Education and Sports (hereinafter referred to as "the Executing Agency") now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Furniture to Various Benefi ciary Institution's Under the ADB V HEST Project (under Lot 4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.04, 4.05 and Lot 4.06) as indicated in the table below, hereinafter called "the Goods").
