KAMPALA - Coach Paul Nkata could be plotting a  come back for his  side as the second round of the Azam Uganda Premier League gets underway this weekend.

The URA FC tactician on Thursday at club's home ground Namboole, lined up seven new players to strengthen the team.  Nkata who has been in charge of the team for few games after replacing Ibrahim Kirya has a lot to prove to the club's top brass.

The new signing include former KCCA striker Herman Wasswa, who joined the tax collectors from Zambia's Lusaka Dynamos. Others are Deboss Kalama, Derrick Ocen and  Moses Sseruyidde, all from Kira United , Charles Odeke (Masavu FC), Godfrey Ssembatya (Nangabo Green Valley) and Sadrach Ssebulime (City Lads).

URA's decision to sign Kalama and Sseruyidde permanently does not come as a  surprise as the duo impressed Nkata during the Mapinduzi Cup that was hosted last month in Zanzibar.

Kalama and Sseruyidde had been given the Mapinduzi Cup tourney to prove themselves which they did although URA lost to Tanzania's giants Azam FC in the final 4-3 in penalties after goalless draw.

URA who finished  seventh with 20 points in the first round of the league travel to Jinja to face BUL at Kakindu stadium in their first game of the second round this Saturday
