President Yoweri Museveni has described the former archbishop of the Church of Uganda as a principled shepherd of the flock.

He said he was a religious leader whose actions matched his words. "He was also passionate on improving the welfare of his flock and led by example. He will be missed. May he rest in peace," Museveni said in a tweet.

She said her uncle spent much of what turned out to be his final day requesting for water and juice.
