Armed thugs terrorise Kisoro 

Residents of Mugeshi Village in Nyarusiza sub-county Kisoro district are now living in fear following the attack on a 26-year-old Kisoro based businessman by armed thugs.

The attack left him with several body injuries.

According to Kisoro Police officer in charge of criminal investigations department Innocent Mubangizi, the victim identified as Godfrey Tumwizere was going home on Friday evening when heard strange voices stopping him, on looking behind he saw gun men running at him.

Tumwizere is a renowned Irish potato dealer in Kisoro. 

Mubangizi said the attackers started firing at Tumwizere who escaped with injuries on his left leg and that Police has embarked on the investigation to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice. 

By press time, Tumwizere was still admitted at Mutolere Hospital in Kisoro district.
