The International T20 vibe has come upon Uganda and more significantly it comes in a rewarding manner for the Ugandan cricketers who are set to receive monetary returns for featuring in the Afro T20 Cricket League.

Code named "Cricket Safari League" the first of its kind tournament comes with a massive international attachment as foreign super stars from the likes of India, Pakistan, Kenya, Zimbabwe, UAE and Afghanistan are participating in the event that will run until 27this month at Lugogo and Kayambogo ovals.

Abraham Sadada made the difference as the Raging Bulls made a strong start in the T20 showpiece. He scored a half century of 68 from 54 balls as his side beat Striking Panthers Sunday at Lugogo oval.

Ali Riazat, batting at number 3 reached a near half ton of 42 from 28 balls not out with the scoreboard moving to 167, setting a daunting target for the Panthers who collapsed at 118.

Arthur Kyobe, of the chasing pack scored an undefeated half century of 75 from43 balls but then his side could not meet the target of 168.

Action continues today with Charging Leopards facing Mighty Rhinos as Rising Zebras entertain Roaring Lions at Lugogo oval.
