FIFA unveiled the list of 21 approved referees

Referees Dennis Batte, Hussein Bugembe, Dick Okello, Anna Akoyi and Docus Atuhaire have been dropped from FIFA's international football referees list.

This comes after FIFA unveiled the list of 21 referees approved for FIFA badges for 2018.

One of the new faces on the list include; William Oloya (referee), Shamirah Nabadda (referee) and Issa Masembe (assistant referee)

"We received the approved list from FIFA this week. FUFA congratulates the referees for making the final list which was also approved by the world soccer governing body. We expect the officials to maintain high standards both on the domestic and International scene when selected for duty," said FUFA communications manager Ahmed Hussein.

Male referees: Miiro Brian Nsubuga, Muhabi Alex, Ssali Mashood, Sabilla Ali Chelangat and Oloya William.

Assistant referees: Ssonko Mark, Okello Lee, Katenya Ronald, Okello Dick, Balikoowa Musa Ngobi and Masembe Issa.

Beach Soccer: Kintu Ivan Bayige, Mugerwa Shafic and Ssenteza Muhammad

Women referees: Ssemmambo Aisah Nabikko, Naigaga Habiba and Nabadda Shamirah

Women Assistant referees: Nantabo Lydia Wanyama, Nagaddya Catherine Cynthia, Nakitto Marex Nkumbi and Mutonyi Jane
