The Appeals Committee also ordered the FUFA Competitions Committee to issue Shaban with a conditional player’s license

New KCCA signing Muhammad Shaban has been fined sh22m by the FUFA Appeals Committee over the circumstances surrounding his acrimonious departure from Onduparaka.

This comes after Onduparaka petitioned the Committee close to two months ago claiming that the Players Status Committee had given KCCA the go ahead to unveil Shaban who was still contracted to the West Nile side.

In the ruling made by the Committee, Shaban was fined sh10m for forcefully quitting Onduparaka without the club's consent.

Shaban has also been ordered to pay sh12m for the remaining two years left on his contract with Onduparaka where he was on a sh500,000 monthly salary.

Shaban has been given 30 days to comply with the committee's demands.

The Appeals Committee also ordered the FUFA Competitions Committee to issue Shaban with a player's license.

In case he fails to meet the Committee's demands within the stipulated time, the license will be rescinded.
