Local musician Dizzy Nuts has been knocked dead by a speeding car.

According to an eyewitness, the crash occurred at around 2am, when an unknown motorist rammed into fellow musician Bebe Cool's Hummer which was parked outside a night club in Wakiso district.

Dizzy Nuts and Bebe Cool had just shared a stage at Victoria Club located in Kireka, a suburb of Kira Municipality.

One eyewitness narrated that the fallen singer, standing next to the passenger door was chatting with Bebe Cool who was seated inside the car when the killer car crashed into him.

The speeding car was only identified as a Toyota Harrier. The driver reportedly sped away after the crash.

It was not immediately established if the crash was an accident or a motivated attack.

Dizzy Nuts' popularity grew after Bebe Cool's 2008 dancehall hit ‘Fire Burn Dem', in which he lent his vocals.

Earlier this year, the singer unveiled a new set of songs after a lengthy hiatus.
