22-year old Vincent Kwizera was a third year bachelors in business administration student at Kampala International University (KIU).

He was known to many of the students and staff for selling study handouts as a side business.

Kwizera and other five Rwandan students of the university perished in a motor accident that occurred on Saturday along Kampala-Gulu highway in Nakasongola district.

The team of 13 belonging to the Banyarwanda Association of the university was travelling in a commuter taxi from a party when their taxi crushed into another commuter taxi leaving six dead while others sustained severe injuries.

Among the six students that died include, Frank Ngarambi (BBA-accounting), Fred Gasasira (tourism), Emmanuel Shema, Vincent Kwizera (BBA-marketing) and others.

The survivors including Diana Kanyana and others are nursing wounds at St. Francis Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.

New Vision visited the university's Kampala campus and found several students coiled in small groups in grief.

A fire was lit up by students in the university compound to mourn the departed colleagues.

By press time, students were still at the university waiting for a communication for their administration on plans of burials for their colleagues.
