Experts say that there is no bad job.

When she set out to do a course in Mechanics,  Rovina Akello was discouraged by many who referred to a mechanic Jobs as a dirty and mainly done by men. However, Akello defied all odds and continued with her course since it was something that she was passionate about.

Three years down the road, she graduated and today she is working as a mechanic and no matter the challenges that she faces in her profession, Akello is not shaken, she rather looks for solutions and life continues.

Akello proudly says that those who discouraged her in the beginning now admire her and some ask her for job replacements, something that gives Akello the courage to hang in there.

Experts say that there is no bad job. They explain saying the way one handles their job matters and determines whether it's good or bad.

According to Betty Namuwaya Kampi the Human resource manager Rehman Motors, some people are lazy and never hit their work targets.

"When they are asked to improve, they develop a negative attitude towards work and regard their jobs as bad," she says.

She adds that it's always good for all employees to have positive attitude towards work because it makes you look at all tasks with a positive mind hence enhancing your delivery rate. Namuwaya advices youths to consider doing things that they are passionate about.

"When you're passionate about something, no matter the challenges passion keeps you going."  Jimmy Wesiga the director Gold seeds international says the education policy has spoilt youths who look at studying to work in offices and earn a salary at the end of the month.

"Such people usually look at hands on work as dirty work and they don't want anything to do with it or even associate with people involved in such work," he says.

However, there is no dirty job but what matters is the income you get from the job and how important it is to the community.

He notes that the jobs that are usually regarded as dirty jobs are more paying than white color jobs that people love most.

He notes that to get the best out of any job, follow your supervisor's instructions, meet your targets and have good working relationships with coworkers and you will definitely love your job.
