JEEMA appeals to Ugandans to participate in age limit consultations

Opposition's Justice Forum Party (JEEMA)  has called upon Ugandans to participate in the on-going consultations by MPs on the amendment of Article 102 (b) of the Constitution to lift the presidential age limit.

The party president, Asuman Basalirwa, said that it is important for the masses to attend such meetings, so they can inform their area MPs of the dangers of amending the article.

Meanwhile, Basalirwa said as a party, they are also considering going to court to seek legal redress so as to block the whole exercise of amending the Constitution.
