Body of Danz Kumapeesa stuck in hospital over money

Danz Ku Mapeesa alias Daniel Mukisa passed on today morning around as he was being rushed to Nsambya Hospital in Kampala

The body of the late producer, Danz Kumapeesa alias Daniel Mukisa, is stuck in Nsambya Hospital as family looks for sh2.6m for its release 

 

Kumapeesa  passed on today morning around as he was being rushed to Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.

 

According to the late's sister, Ruth Mukisa, before his death, he had been discharged from hospital where he had spent months receiving treatment.

'Like it has always been, we woke up to feed him only to find blood oozing from his nose. We rushed him to Nsambya, but doctors told us he had already passed on," she said.

 

However, the family is still in the quest for sh2.6m needed by Nsambya Hospital to release his body.

 

Kumapeesa was allegedly bludgeoned by burglars at his home in Busabala.

 

He will be buried at his ancestral home in Mukono were the vigil is currently being held.

 

Kumapeesa was the force behind songs such as Bebe Cool's Mbozi Za Malwa, Winnie Nwagi's Musawo and others.
