Age-limit chaos will scare away investors, says Central Bank

Bank of Uganda's director of research Dr Adam Mugume said that investors fear to put their money in an economy whose political situation is not stable

The Central Bank has expressed fear that the current political unrest surrounding the constitutional amendments could scare away potential investors if they persist.

Bank of Uganda's director of research Dr Adam Mugume has said that investors fear to put their money in an economy whose political situation is not stable because they may end up losing their capital.

Mugume has asked all the concerned political players to engage in amicable means of sorting out their political differences rather than engaging in running battles.
