The Democratic Party (DP) has sent its condolences to the Las Vegas shooting victims through United States of America (U.S.A) ambassador to Uganda, Deborah. R. Malac
Speaking during the weekly press briefing at their main offices in Kampala yesterday, the Party president Norbert Mao said the incident was an unfortunate one.
"The attack on the innocent civilians was an unfortunate one, we stand with the affected families and we pray that God keeps them strong in this trying moments," he said
"Through Ambassador Deborah, we mourn with the U.S.A for the loss of innocent civilians," he added
At least 59 people were killed and more than 527 injured in the mass shooting on the Las Vegas strip Nevada.
According to different sources, the incident which took place at about 10:00pm, local time on Sunday is the deadliest in modern US history.
