Museveni returns from Belgium

The President paid a courtesy call on the King of Belgium His Majesty Leopold Phillipe and also received investors from the Netherlands

President Yoweri Museveni has returned home from his three-day working visit to Belgium during which he met the European Union President Jean Claude Juncker whom he presented the concerns of the East African Community member countries over the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs).

The President paid a courtesy call on the King of Belgium, His Majesty Leopold Phillipe and also received investors from the Netherlands who are interested in supplying an assortment of hospital equipment to Uganda.

President Museveni who was earlier seen off at Brussels military airport by the 2nd Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Affairs Kirunda Kivejinja and Uganda's Ambassador to Belgium Marjiam Blaak, was received on arrival at Entebbe International Airport Friday evening by Presidency Minister, Esther Mbayo, the head of public service, John Mitala and senior security officials.
