17 dead in Rubanda landslides

Seventeen people are reported dead following landslides in the western district of Rubanda.

Six bodies have so far been recovered. Some victims have been rushed to Kabale Regional referral Hospital.

The most affected areas are Bufundi and Muko Sub-Counties.

The landslide was a result of a heavy down pour.
