Vipers beat Masavu 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon in Entebbe to move top of the Uganda Premier League log.

Milton Karisa and Steven Mukwala each grabbed a goal for the Kitende side who are now on ten points, three above second placed Police.

At Lugogo, Proline beat Soana 2-0 to register their first victory of the season.  Fahad Bayo and Joseph Mandela were both on target for Proline.

At Champion Stadium, home side Bright Stars came from a goal down to beat Kirinya Jinja SS 2-1.

Musa Esenu opened the scoring for Kirinya in the 4th minute before Nelson Senkatuka and Joshua Kawadwa led the fight back from the hosts, scoring in the 25th and 76th minute.

The league resumes Wednesday with five games on card. Onduparaka hosts Police in Arua while SC Villa will face Mbarara City at Masaka Recreation Ground. 

In Jinja, BUL will play UPDF at Kakindu stadium while Express will face Maroons at Wankulukuku Stadium.
