"With fashionable seat covers, you no longer have to worry about kids and pets that mess up your lounge," she argues.

On the other hand, Berly Moraa Sevume, another designer with Samara Beddings and interiors in Kampala adds that seat covers will make your sofas and dining chairs look brand new, effortlessly.

"If buying a new sofa set is not necessary, just transform and give it a stylish new looks with stretchable couch covers," she opines.

These come in handy to update your seats with fresh fabric.

Berly notes that with seat covers, home owners no longer need to spend on chair cleaning.

"These come in various colours, sizes to fit on any size and shape of the chair or sofa," she asserts.

Maintenance

These upholstery materials come in cotton (60%) and polyester (40%.)  

However, Berly advises that to keep them looking cosy, avoid machine washing and detergents because they are harsh on such fabric.  Just hand wash them with bar soap.

However, ensure that the colour selection blends well with room elements like the rugs, curtains and pillow scatters.

Nevertheless, she advises home owners to have more sets they can choose from whenever they wish to change the appearance of their interiors.
