The executive director of the Uganda National Road Authority (UNRA), Allen Kagina has warned peoples against encroaching on road reserves.
Speaking during the 13th joint transport sector review workshop on Thursday last week, at the Imperial Royal Hotel in Kampala, Kagina said people have encroached on road reserves in most parts of the country.
She noted that road reserves are meant for expansion of roads, not for growing crops and trees.
