Nte eliminated Lugave 2-1 on aggregate in the semifinals

Bika Bya Buganda

Final: Nte v Ffumbe (Nov 25th)

For the last 17 years, no clan has managed to defend the Bika Bya Buganda football tournament.

This will be one the hurdles Nte clan will be hoping to overcome if they are to retain the crown they won last year.

Lugave was the last clan that defended the title in 1999 after winning it the previous year.

Nte takes on Ffumbe clan in this year's final that will be hosted at Bukalasa playground in Wobulenzi, Luweero.

Nte eliminated Lugave 2-1 on aggregate in the semifinals while Ffumbe progressed on away goals over Mpindi despite a 1-0 defeat in the return leg.

Ffumbe who last won the crown in 2009 will be seeking to win their fourth title while Nte have previously won the tournament in 2010 and 2016.

Uganda Cranes forward Derrick Nsibambi will be one of Ffumbe's key players while URA's Peter Lwasa will lead Nte's striking force.
