UOC start Constitutional review process

Uganda Olympic committee (UOC) constitution review committee that comprises of Kenneth Gimugu, Moses Mwase, Michael Wandera and Lydia Sanyu de Muzungu has started stakeholders consultative meetings.

The consultative meetings are meant to collect views that will be used to amend the 2013 UOC constitution and be in alignment with the national sports regulations.

On May 25 this year, UOC and NCS signed an MOU to end the fight between the two institutions.

In the MOU, UOC was to undertake a constitution review process to align its constitution with the laws of Uganda in particular- the NCS Act and the 2014 NCS regulations.
