Football coaches urged to stop showing off certificates

Over thirty five coaches have turned up for the CAF C coaching course that kicked off on Monday

Chief guest and FUFA technical director Asuman Lubowa has urged football coaches to start being active in football if they want to be recognised after their coaching courses.

Over thirty five coaches have turned up for the CAF C coaching course that kicked off on Monday at Njeru technical center near Jinja. The course will last for two weeks .

"Do not go back and just show off your certificate. You need to have a club, a school or rather volunteer at any level where you can be
recognised as a coach . Learn to specialise in your duties and leave other duties for others. Try to atleast manage a club or a school and
don't manage many at ago," Lubowa said.

Managing director Tangosport Uganda,Joseph Mutaka called  on all participants to attend all the 120 hour lessons to perfect their
performance before being awarded the certifice.

Jackson Nyiima, Asuman Lubowa, Sadiq Wassa, Livingstone Kyobe,Samuel Egesa and Yahaya Katumba will serve as course instructors and assessors during the two weeks course.

Bul FC Bright Dhaira,former Cranes midfielder mike Dogu ,Hannington Kalyesubula, Robert Kabuye among others are some of the participants.
