Rwanda v Uganda
Uganda Cranes local based team captain Nicholas Wadada has urged fans to turn up in big numbers to support them when they take on Rwanda in the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier this Saturday at St Mary's Kitende.
"We have had a good training session and feel ready for the match on Saturday. We call upon the fans to come and support us on the day," stated Wadada.
Cranes who entered residential camp at African Bible University Lubowa, will be expected to conduct their second last training session today at Kitende.
Meanwhile, defender defender Savio Kabugo limped out of training after sustaining an injury. But he will need to pass fitness test from the team doctors if is to feature on Saturday.
Uganda's opponents Rwanda were expected to arrive in the country today and will be residing at Imperial hotel,Entebbe.
After the weekend tie, the two sides will faceoff in the return leg next Staturday in Kigali with winner from both legs qualifying for 2018 finals in Kenya.
Cranes eliminated South Sudan 5-1 on aggregate to reach the final round while Rwanda ejected Tanzania on away goals rule.
