Buddu and Gomba will know their fate in this year's Airtel Buganda Masaza Cup later this week.

This comes after the first leg semi-final over the weekend ended prematurely. The game played at Kabulasooke PTC playground on Sunday was abandoned in the 82rd minute after Mikiadadi Ssenyonga had given Buddu a lead.

The goal was protested by Gomba fans, players and officials which led to violence leading to the intervention of the Police to rescue the situation.

The organizing committee is supposed to meet either Tuesday or Wednesday to make final verdict about the matter.

In the other semi-final, Ssingo beat Busiro1-0 at the Ssentema playground. Isaac Otto's was on target for Otto.

The return legs are slated for this weekend. The winners from both matches will in the final at Mandela National stadium,Namboole on August 26.

Buddu are defending champions having defeated Gomba in penalties 6-5 after 1all draw last year at Mandela national stadium,Namboole.
