KAMPALA - The Federation for Uganda Football Association general elections will, for now, go ahead as planned.

This is after High Court on Thursday dismissed an interim application order to halt the August 5 polls.

The session was held at the Civil Division of the High Court at the Twed Towers.

The application was filed by a group of three fans, according to the local football governing body.

The 93rd FUFA Ordinary General Assembly will take place in Masindi at Kabalega Resort Hotel.
