Oulanyah calls for probe on road accidents

Oulanyah calls for a crackdown on errant drivers.

IN BRIEF

KAMPALA - The deputy speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah has requested the minister of works and transport to carry a thorough investigation on the rampant road accidents to devise means of minimising road carnage.

This comes after recent deadly crashes along the Kampala-Jinja highway, Kampala-Masaka road as well as other spots.

Oulanyah says the director of traffic police should deploy personnel permanently in black spots to crack down on errant motorists.
