Chameleone lauds Bobi Wine

His remarks drew rapturous applause from thousands of his fans that attended the Hit After Hit show

Jose Chameleone's 'Hit After Hit' concert was all about celebrating his career that has lasted a decade or so.

His career has faced all odds, in an industry that is hardly given due attention by the powers-that-be.

That is why, when he spared time during his performance to congratulate artiste Bobi Wine, his erstwhile nemesis, for winning the Kyadondo East by-election, the crowd was ecstatic.

Bobi Wine was in attendance, dressed in a suit that befits an MP.

"I congratulate Bobi Wine for his recent victory. I apologise for not being able to join his campaign team because I was also tight with preparations for the show. This should go as a warning to politicians. They should start considering artistes as important people and not just comedians" Chameleone said.

His remarks drew rapturous applause from thousands of his fans that attended the show.

Chameleone took to stage at 11pm and started off his performance with his rendition of Elly Wamala and Philly Lutaaya songs.

From there, he sailed his fans through his old time hits such as ‘Katupakase', ‘Sanyu Lyange' and ‘Badilisha' among others.

Other performers at the Bell Lager and Vision Group-sponsored show were Afrigo Band, Aziz Azion, Radio & Weasel, Pallaso and Gravity Omutujju.
