Chemutai gears up for junior championships with Bilbao win

National junior athlete Albert Chemutai continued his rich vein of form by chalking up a victory at the International Meeting of Bilbao last weekend.
The Arua Athletic Club runner came home first with a time of 8:33.70 in the 3000m steeplechase as he continued his buildup to the 13th Africa Junior Championship in Algeria.
Chemutai is part of Uganda's junior team to the Tlemcen event starting Thursday, June 29. He will represent Uganda alongside Titus Kwemoi who will feature in the 5000m.
The two will compete alongside five other Ugandan juniors in the competition which is a precursor to the IAAF World Junior Championships starting July 12 in Nairobi, Kenya
