It goes with no doubt that good facilitation triggers more fire among players in any kind of sport.

Now, as the Cricket Cranes  set out for glory in the fast approaching ICC World Cricket League Division 3, here in the country, Mehta Group has offered Sh45m towards the team, a reprieve that has been received with a smile by the UCA Saturday at Lugazi, the home of Mehta Group in Uganda.

The players can now take a huge sigh since this offer partly translates that their allowances are assured and other logistics ahead of the highly anticipated first class cricket international event with a top two finish facilitating a move to ICC World Cricket League Division 2 from where they can qualify to play in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.

"It is quite a relief for us. Part of the sponsorship would partly cover   players and officials allowances, team logistics, kit among other things" said UCA CEO Justine Ligyalingi

The offer in the furtherance would also cater for branding with the Cricket Cranes set to have a new designed kit that they will use in the event. Of the sponsorship, Sh22m will directly be offered in cash as the remainder would come in form of logistics and branding.
