Notice from Mbale, Soroti and Tororo municipal councils

Bid notice under Open National Bidding for Civil Works of Infrastructure Projects in Cluster Two.

1. The Government of Uganda (GOU) through the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development has received funding from the World Bank under the Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development Program (USMID) to be used for the development infrastructure sub-projects in Mbale, Soroti and Tororo Municipalities.
2. The Municipal Councils of Mbale, Soroti and Tororo intend to apply part of the funds to develop selected infrastructure projects in the three participating entities.
3. The Municipal Councils now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for implementation of selected infrastructure subprojects in the Municipalities of Mbale, Soroti and Tororo
4. The bidders must have successfully completed similar works of a value not less than 10 billion Uganda shillings in one contract within the last three years.
5. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open National Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda's Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (as amended) and the Local Government Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Regulation, 2006.
