They argue that their colleagues in other sub counties in Teso have motorcycles

LC3 chairpersons of Usuk and Angongoja sub counties in Katakwi district have called on government to provide them with motorcycles to ease their work.

Raymond Odeke the Usuk LC3 chairman said they have a lot of projects in the sub county to be monitored but transport is their challenge.

Speaking to New Vision in his office, Odeke said he has faced so many challenges in hiring bodaboda riders to take him to meetings and community work.

"If this government knows our work, let it avail us with transport to ease our work in Katakwi" said Odeke.

William Omeke the Ongongoja LC3 confirmed that since he assumed the office he has never heard any rumour about the arrival of motorcycles yet his colleagues in other sub counties in Teso have.

"We nowadays dip into our pockets for transport and if you don't have money you forego the meeting. It is very hard and we are suffering here in Katakwi as LC3 chairpersons. Please help us to help our people" said Omeke.
