The race for this year's title is very much in the balance despite new entrants Aziz Damani's cruise at the top of the log.

Well it's still early days but the anticipated competitive atmosphere is slowly taking root. Perhaps this is what onlookers, sponsors and the enthusiasts would love to witness in a league that has been largely dominated by Tornado Bee.

Debutants Damani were again on the offensive, condemning KICC to a 7 wicket loss on Sunday at the Lugogo Oval.

National coach Steve Tikolo's (3/14) and Fahad Sadiq's (4/30) with the ball ensured Hanumant Katkar's KICC were all out for 141.

The last year's division two champions have won three games so far, in somewhat similar fashion; winning by bowling out opponents.

"We have discovered how to take it simple, tactical and eventually killing off the games. We want to continue working as a unit" said bowler Emmanuel Isaneez.

They have now moved on to 19 points a point ahead of second placed Challengers.

At Kyambogo, John Mpande (5/40) and Deus Muhumuza (4/16) guided Tornado Bee to victory, moving to 17 points on the table with a game in hand on the top two.

Shazhad Kamal 46 (62) and Naseer Ahmed 38 (44) fuelled Challengers' crushing victory against Charity at the Entebbe Oval.

Meanwhile following their relegation to division two, Tornado lost to SKLPS by 51 runs at Budo Oval. It was a rude awakening of sorts for Tornado as Manshuk Gorasiya's 71 (93) and Ajay Hirani's  46 (98) condemned them to deafeat.
