KCCA wary of fatigue as they embark on 5 games in 16 days

If KCCA wins today's game, it will go top of the table on 45 points, if only for 24 hours

KCCA will pray that the fixture pile-up doesn't affect their performance.

The reigning champions face Police today away at Namboole Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League starting a run of five games in sixteen days across all competitions.   

After today's game, they will host Bright Stars and Egyptian side Al Masry at home in the local league and CAF Confederations Cup on Tuesday and Saturday next week respectively.

Two days later they will face Kataka away in Mbale in the round of 16 of the Uganda Cup before heading to Egypt for the return leg on April 15. 

"We might face fatigue but our good recovery systems will enable us gain back our fitness levels. The good thing most of our players are injury free. We also have a big pool of the players from which the team can be rotated," KCCA skipper Dennis Okot said. 

If KCCA wins today's game, it will go top of the table on 45 points, one above second placed SC Villa if only for 24 hours.

But despite today's game, KCCA still has two games in hand. Police are eleventh on the table with 24 points. 

Elsewhere, bottom side Kirinya Jinja SS entertains on form Vipers at Kakindu Stadium. Vipers are third on the table with 35 points, 18 ahead of Kirinya with a game in hand 

At Wankulukuku, Lweza who play Soana, are third from bottom with 22 points, five behind seventh placed Soana.
