The versatile defender who has played each and every game for KCCA this season will deputize Okot who has been the captain of the team since 2015.

"It is a blessing for me to be one of the captains at a great club like KCCA FC. It is a vote of confidence for me from the manager and the technical team and this will push me to work harder," stated Kavuma.

On the same note, goalkeepers Benjamin Ochan and Charles Lukwago have also been named the second and third assistant captains respectively.
