History erased as Nakivubo Stadium stands torn down

As Kampala authorities continue bickering on whether the Nakivubo Stadium developers are working with or without approved plans in the boardrooms, graders are meanwhile already erasing history.

A peep into the facility on Thursday shows work is already going on.

The Kisenyi wing, Soweto and the pavilion side have all been razed as the developer embarks on construction of the multi-billion facility.

At the former Park Yard the foundation for ‘a modern parking area’ has been started on.
