Police finds kidnapped city lawyer

A city lawyer who was kidnapped has been found along Salaama Road in Makindye Division a Kampala Suburb.

Mubarak Kalenga, a Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) clerk attached to central division was discovered by Police on Tuesday.

Police Flying Squad commander, Herbert Muhangi, told New Vision that they were able to trace him by tracking his phone.

 "We found him and he is admitted at Case Hospital in Kampala. Details will be availed later since the matter is under investigation," Muhangi said.

 "He (Mubarak) can't speak now. He was beaten and has bruises," a relative said.

Mubarak Kalenga also a lecture at KIU was abducted by three unknown people at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening at Afro American Restaurant in Bukoto Kampala where he had gone to have a meal.

According to a witness, Julius Agasa the restaurant manager said that armed men dressed in civilian clothes abducted Kalenge as he approached his car after having a meal at the restaurant.
