CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FIRST ROUND

First leg: Mamelodi Sundowns v KCCA (Friday)

Second leg: KCCA v Mamelodi Sundowns (March 18)

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi has urged his players to stick to their style of play if they are to have a chance against Mamelodi Sundowns in their CAF Champions League two-legged tie.

The local premier league holders will play the first leg away in South Africa this Friday.

Mutebi knows how daunting the task at hand is, considering Sundowns are the reigning African champions.

"We are going to play our way. All we have to do is to respect them as the defending champions but not change our style of play," he said.

"We shall try to be orderly not to concede lousy goals and create as many chances as we can and make sure we score because it is important."

The first leg will be played at Lucas Moripe stadium.

KCCA will then play host to Cranes keeper Denis Onyango's Sundowns on March 18 for the return leg.

The Lugogo-based side flew out of the country on Tuesday and arrived safely. They are residing at City Lodge Hotel in Pretoria ahead of their crucial match.
