They have to do without three senior players who are with the national sevens team

The 2016/17 Nile Special Premier Rugby League continues today with clubs targeting victory to seal their positions in the league.

Buffaloes host Makerere Impis at Kyadondo Rugby Club determined to win despite missing some of their top players who feature for the national rugby sevens team.

Kevin Keremundu, Solomon Okias, Fred Odour will be missing in action but coach Edgar Lamerigar is confident their replacements will deliver.

"We are out of the top three but we are going to win the game because we want to finish in the top four" Lamerigar stated.

"Yes we have been affected by the sevens team players who preparing for Hong Kong 7s, but I have confidence in the replacements" he explained.

Buffaloes are fifth on the table with 30 points, a point behind Rhinos.

In the other game of the day Rams host Sadolin Mongers at the Graveyard Ground in Makerere while Betway Kobs host Warriors at Legends.

Kobs are third on the table and have set their sights on dislodging Buzz Pirates from second position.
