MP Anywar injured in car accident

The legislator was on her way to Kampala when the accident happened

Kitgum Municipality MP Beatrice Atim Anywar was on Tuesday afternoon involved in a road accident at Labayango, Paloga Sub County in Lamwo district. 

John Ogwok Komakech, the Lamwo LC5 chairman said the accident occurred when Anywar was travelling to Kampala after attending the funeral of late Michael Ocan who was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Potika village, Agoro Sub County in Lamwo district. 

Ocan is the husband to Gulu Woman MP Betty Aol Ocan and former head teacher of Kitgum High School. 

Anywar was rushed to Kitgum Hospital for medical attention.
